SAP BTP Integration Lead Consultant

Key Responsibilities - Lead the design and development of enterprise integration solutions using SAP CPI / SAP BTP Integration Suite .
- Develop and maintain integration flows using SAP Cloud Integration .
- Design integrations across SAP and non-SAP applications using appropriate integration patterns and technologies.
- Work with SAP PI/PO and Cloud Integration for migration, enhancement, and integration requirements.
- Develop and manage APIs using SAP API Management and related technologies.
- Utilise Integration Advisor, Event Mesh, and Open Connectors where appropriate.
- Design and implement integrations using OData, REST, SOAP, IDoc, RFC, FTP, and SFTP .
- Work with data formats including XML, JSON, CSV, and XSL/XSLT for transformation and processing.
- Develop custom integration logic using Groovy, Java, or JavaScript .
- Configure error handling, monitoring, logging, retries, and exception-management mechanisms.
- Implement secure integrations using OAuth, SSL, SAML, JWT, and SSH .
- Work with SAP BTP services including Cloud Foundry, HANA Cloud, Business Application Studio (BAS), CI/CD, and transport management .
- Collaborate with technical and functional teams to understand requirements and translate them into integration solutions.
- Lead technical discussions, solution design reviews, and integration architecture decisions.
- Troubleshoot production and development integration issues and perform root-cause analysis.
- Support testing, deployment, migration, and post-go-live activities.
- Follow Agile/Scrum methodologies and contribute to continuous improvement of integration processes.
- Ensure integration solutions meet technical standards, security requirements, performance expectations, and business objectives.
What Makes You a Great Fit
- 8+ years of hands-on experience in SAP integration technologies.
- Strong expertise in SAP CPI / SAP BTP Integration Suite .
- Extensive experience with SAP PI/PO and Cloud Integration .
- Strong knowledge of API development and SAP API Management .
- Hands-on experience with Integration Advisor, Event Mesh, and Open Connectors .
- Strong experience integrating systems using OData, REST, SOAP, IDoc, RFC, FTP, and SFTP .
- Good understanding of XML, JSON, CSV, XSL/XSLT , and data transformation.
- Programming experience with Groovy, Java, or JavaScript .
- Knowledge of Cloud Foundry, HANA Cloud, BAS, CI/CD, and transport management .
- Strong understanding of integration security, including OAuth, SSL, SAML, JWT, and SSH .
- Experience designing and delivering complex end-to-end integration solutions.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to independently manage integration deliverables and technical responsibilities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Experience integrating SAP solutions such as S/4HANA, Ariba, or C4C is an advantage.
- Knowledge of SAP Activate for BTP is desirable.
- Strong ownership mindset with the ability to work effectively across distributed and cross-functional teams.
