This role is responsible for ensuring all transportation activities comply with company policies, client requirements, and DOT regulations. The position includes conducting pre-trip and post-trip inspections, completing required documentation such as DVIRs, and maintaining responsibility for assigned equipment, trailers, and cargo. The Fleet Driver 2 actively participates in safety meetings and adheres to all HSE standards while supporting overall operational needs. Job Requirements (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities) Ability to communicate effectively with team members Demonstrates responsibility, reliability, and professionalism Strong understanding of DOT regulations and compliance requirements Ability to operate commercial vehicles safely and efficiently Ability to understand and explain permits Adaptable to changing conditions and operational needs Maintains integrity and adherence to company values Works collaboratively with others and respects team contributions Ability to follow instructions and complete assigned tasks independently Minimum Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent 2 years of relevant driving experience Valid CDL Class A license Preferred Certifications Hazmat endorsement Additional Details (Working Conditions & Physical Demands) Frequent travel (up to 100%). Ability to work extended shifts (over 8 hours as needed). Work performed outdoors and in varying environmental conditions. Exposure to extreme temperatures, noise, and operational hazards. Ability to lift up to 30 pounds. Requires physical activities such as climbing, stooping, standing, walking, and reaching. Exposure to dust, fumes, and other atmospheric conditions.
