Phlebotomist

Job Summary Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist in Huron, CA 93234. Work Schedule Monday‑Friday 8:00am‑12:00pm; rotating weekends may be required. Travel to additional sites when needed. Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups. Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc. Perform accurate data entry of patient information. Process billing information and collect payments when required. Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis. Maintain patient and specimen information logs. Provide superior customer service to all patients. Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary. Basic Qualifications High School Diploma or GED or equivalent. Valid California State issued Phlebotomy License (or an application for a license filed at time of hire may suffice). Able to pass a standardized color blindness test. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service. Ability to work independently or in a team environment. Comfortable working under minimal supervision. Flexibility to work overtime as needed. Can attend 2‑week training in California. Preferred Qualifications At least one month of experience as a phlebotomist. Current or prior experience with Labcorp. Additional Job Standards In lieu of state license requirement listed above, an application for a phlebotomy license filed with the CA Department of Health at time of hire may meet license requirement. PST’s may be eligible for participation in the PST Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics. Compensation and Benefits Pay Range: $21.00 - $33.00 per hour. Employees scheduled 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement, and Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Employees scheduled less than 20 hours, Casual, Intern, and Temporary employees are only eligible for the 401(k) Plan.
