How you'll Make a Difference

As a Maintenance Technician at Wendover, you'll play a vital role in creating and maintaining the high-quality living experience our residents count on. With a focus on safety, service, and curb appeal, you'll support the day-to-day upkeep of the community while modeling care, precision, and pride in every task. Working closely with the Maintenance Lead and Community Manager, you'll bring both hands-on skill and heart for service to every interaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain the overall cleanliness and functionality of grounds, amenities, building exteriors, leasing office, and shared spaces
• Ensure trash is removed regularly from office areas, community perimeters, and trash chutes/compactors
• Prepare units for new residents by supporting make-ready efforts—including trash removal and minor repairs
• Clean and prepare available apartments and models to our standard of excellence
• Troubleshoot and repair a range of maintenance issues, including mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and carpentry
• Assist with maintenance needs across the community and escalate larger concerns to the Service or Community Manager
• Maintain curb appeal through daily visual inspections and proactive upkeep
• Support emergency response efforts including hazardous weather, flooding, or fire events
• Keep the maintenance shop clean, organized, and stocked
• Collaborate with office staff on community projects or resident needs as requested
