Clinical RN II- Cardiovascular Acute $30K Hiring Incentive Internal candidates must apply by midnight on the Closing Date in order to have bidding rights. Primarily responsible for the delivery of coordinated nursing care for a patient or an assigned group of patients within an assigned unit and for the day-to-day management and supervision of the related clinical activities. Coordinates plan of care with the client, their family and the interdisciplinary team. Also responsible for supervising and directing the activities of various levels of assigned nursing and ancillary personnel, utilizing professional and supervisory discretion and independent judgment. Understands and adheres to the California Nurse Practice Act, the ANA Code of Ethics for Nurses, the ANA Bill of Rights for Registered Nurses and the ANA Scope and Standards of Practice for Nursing. The Registered Nurse is responsible for the observation and direction of patient lifts and mobilization and shall participate as needed in patient handling. Speaks and reads English at a level sufficient to satisfactorily perform the essential functions of the position. Knowledge of standard office equipment (e.g., calculator, fax, photocopier) and personal computer and computer software skills (e.g., MS Windows, Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint, internet, email). Windows computer skills including proficient use of keyboarding, mouse, drop-down menus, scroll bars, opening folders, copying and similar operations required upon employment or within the first two weeks of employment to perform the essential functions of the job.
