Senior Accountant

Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $75,000 to $95,000 per year.

Job Responsibilities:

• Maintain accounts receivable aging and conduct timely collection follow up for outstanding balances.
• Prepare complex client invoices and confirm that terms and pricing align with contract agreements.
• Process detailed project billings for internal and external customers and resolve billing inquiries.
• Prepare verify and code accounts payable invoices maintain the approved vendor list and process payments.
• Support payroll processing assist with foreign currency payables and prepare related statements and reports.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor degree in accounting preferred.
• 7+ years of relevant accounting experience with consulting experience strongly preferred.
• Use Microsoft Excel at an advanced level and work confidently with other office applications.
• Demonstrate strong attention to detail the ability to meet deadlines and clear communication skills.
• Thrive in a fast paced environment while collaborating effectively across departments.

Qualifications:

• Perform monthly account analyses prepare journal entries and reconcile subledgers to the general ledger.
• Reconcile intercompany balances across multiple global entities and maintain accuracy in accordance with accounting standards.
• Support annual audit requests prepare one zero nine nine filings and complete multi jurisdiction tax filings.
• Verify invoice terms and pricing against contract requirements and maintain organized documentation.
• Maintain compliance with United States accounting principles while supporting management reporting needs.
