Office Support Specialist - School of Business (CS27-037) Location: Fully Onsite/Not Remote Eligible Schedule: 15 Hours Per Week

What You Will Do

• Maintaining financial records for the SIUE SBDC/ITC as well as granting agency (ILDCEO).
• Reports matching funds to granting agency along with grant expenditures on a Monthly Cash Request form and provide back-up.
• Prepares yearly budget for RFP/NOFO.
• Complete Purchase Requisitions, Invoice Vouchers, Travel Vouchers, and other Fiscal Delegate duties.
• Informs School of Business the information needed for employee contracts, such as Budget Purpose Number and length of contract.
• Answering the telephone.
• Distributing mail.
• Handling walk-ins.

Minimum Acceptable Qualifications

1. High school diploma or equivalent. 2. Any one or combination totaling two (2) years (24 months) from the categories below: a. College coursework in any curriculum, as measured by the following conversion table or its proportional equivalent: 30 semester hours equals one (1) year (12 months) Associate's Degree (60 semester hours) equals eighteen months (18 months) 90 semester hours equals two (2) years (24 months) Bachelor's Degree (120 semester hours) equals three (3) years (36 months) b. Work experience performing office/clerical activities, including the use of computer systems. 3. One (1) year (12 months) of work experience comparable to the second level of this series. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Knowledge of MS Word and Excel is required. Must also be able to learn and understand Cashnet, AIS eforms, AIS to print monthly Report of Transactions. Must become very familiar with Pcard. This position is the Reconciler for 3 Pcard holders. Ability to multi task. Ability to pay attention to details. Strong math ability.
