Registered Nurse (RN) - Pediatrics

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Pediatrics to work in the Operating Room (OR) of a pediatric acute care hospital .

Key responsibilities

include providing comprehensive nursing care to pediatric patients during surgery, conducting assessments, and implementing interventions to ensure patient safety. The role involves assisting physicians with the care plan and maintaining continuity between the operating room and patient care units.

Qualifications

include a minimum of

• 2 years of OR experience in pediatrics
• Ohio RN license
• BSN degree or in progress
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications; PALS preferred
• American Heart Association certification required
• CNOR certification highly preferred
• Prior pediatric acute care, plastic reconstructive surgery, or laser experience a plus
