Dandelion Counseling LLC is a growing private practice seeking a warm, motivated, and compassionate therapist to join our team. We are looking for someone who values authentic connection with clients, enjoys working independently, and wants the flexibility of private practice while still having access to support and clinical supervision.

This position can be part-time or full-time and offers a hybrid schedule, with the ability to provide a combination of in-person and telehealth sessions.

Responsibilities

The therapist will provide individual psychotherapy to clients based on their clinical interests, experience, and areas of competence. Responsibilities include completing appropriate assessments and treatment plans, maintaining timely clinical documentation, coordinating care when appropriate, and providing ethical, evidence-based treatment.

Therapists are expected to maintain professional boundaries, comply with HIPAA and applicable ethical and licensing requirements, and participate in supervision or consultation as appropriate.

Qualifications

Candidates should have a master's degree in counseling, social work, psychology, marriage and family therapy, or a related behavioral health field.

We welcome applicants who hold or are pursuing an appropriate New Jersey mental health credential, including LPC, LAC, LCSW, LSW, LMFT, or associate-level licensure, as applicable to the position.

Ideal candidates are dependable, compassionate, organized, clinically curious, and comfortable working both independently and collaboratively.

Experience or interest in areas such as anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, relationships, adolescents, young adults, or women's mental health is welcomed.

Schedule

Part-time and full-time opportunities are available. Scheduling is flexible and can include daytime and/or evening availability depending on clinician preference and client demand.

This is a hybrid position offering a combination of in-person and telehealth work.
