Floor Care Technician

Location: Asheville, NC

Pay Rate: $18/hour

Schedule: 8am-5pm. While this role is generally scheduled during daytime hours, occasional evening or night work may be required based on project needs. Candidates interested in future supervisory opportunities should be flexible, as the right individual may occasionally work night shifts to oversee projects. Night work is not a regular part of the schedule, but schedule flexibility when needed is required.

Position Overview

Our client is seeking an experienced, motivated, and dependable Floor Care Technician to join their growing team of professionals. This position specializes in cleaning and maintaining carpet, tile, upholstery, and other hard surfaces—it is not a janitorial or housekeeping role.

Job Duties

Perform carpet, upholstery, ceramic tile, grout, and hard surface floor cleaning

Strip and wax VCT flooring

Use mobile devices for communication and data entry

Arrive punctually to work and scheduled appointments

Maintain a clean and professional company vehicle and equipment

Assist with minor repairs and maintenance of cleaning tools

Properly complete and record paperwork

Occasionally lift up to 50 pounds

Qualifications

Valid driver's license with a good driving record

Ability to pass a drug screen and background check

Strong work ethic, dependability, and attention to detail

Professional communication and customer service skills

Flexibility to adjust work hours occasionally to meet business needs
