Contract | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | 12-hour shifts | Expected 36 hours/week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 28-bed Emergency Department with a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Manage high-acuity presentations including COVID, CHF, Trauma, Sepsis, and CVA
• Perform and assist with advanced procedures such as intubation, chest tubes, and dislocations
• Assess and treat common ED diagnoses including chest pain, abdominal pain, shortness of breath, and MVC
• Administer and monitor a broad range of emergency medications including analgesics, antiemetics, bronchodilators, and IV fluids
• Utilize teleneurology services and apply NIH Stroke Certification knowledge in the care of stroke patients

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license (Compact license accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room experience
• Level II or Level III ED experience required
• BLS – American Heart Association certification required
• ACLS – American Heart Association certification required
• PALS – American Heart Association certification required
• Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) certification required
• Must reside at least 80 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• NIH Stroke Certification preferred
• Experience with Belmont rapid infuser or similar advanced resuscitation equipment
• Familiarity with teleneurology workflows in an emergency setting
