Academic Tutor and Mentor
City Year
As an Academic Tutor and Mentor with City Year, you’ll serve in public schools to provide daily academic support, mentoring, and positive role modeling to students. Working as part of a diverse AmeriCorps team, you’ll lead small-group and one-on-one tutoring in core subjects, reinforce classroom instruction, track student progress, and support attendance and engagement initiatives. You’ll also help deliver after-school programs and enrichment activities. City Year offers coaching, training, and leadership development in a collaborative, mission-driven environment focused on educational equity and student success.
