We're expanding our outside sales team, and we're searching for a full-time Residential Sales Professional who thrives on connecting with homeowners, solving problems, and creating comfort-both in people's homes and in their lives.

No HVAC experience? No problem! Many of our most successful reps came in with zero technical knowledge. What they did have was 2+ years of outside sales experience and the desire to learn.

With our hands-on, step-by-step training, the right candidate will confidently earn a minimum of $200,000 in year one -and top performers reach as high as $400,000!

What the job looks like:

As our Residential Sales Professional, you will help homeowners identify their comfort needs and shape customized HVAC solutions that fit their lifestyle. You'll present our exclusive maintenance program in a way that simplifies decision-making and reinforces long-term value. Each sale flows under your guidance-from listening and advising to preparing clean, accurate sales orders and confirming satisfaction well after installation. Forward momentum is maintained by revisiting warm bids, answering questions with confidence, and helping customers see the benefit behind each recommendation. You will also spend time representing Kern at trade shows, events, and referral groups to build meaningful connections within the community. Occasional evening and weekend on-call availability ensures that customers receive the responsive support they appreciate.
