ProActive Physical Therapy Centers is looking for a motivated Physical Therapy Rehab Technician to join our team.

This isn't a job where you'll spend your day sitting behind a desk. You'll work alongside Physical Therapists and Physical Therapist Assistants, interact directly with patients, and play an important role in helping people regain strength, mobility, and confidence.

What You'll Do

Under the supervision and direction of a licensed Physical Therapist or Physical Therapist Assistant, you'll help keep our patients and clinic moving by:

• Assisting PTs and PTAs with patient care as directed
• Guiding patients through prescribed exercises and stretches under therapist supervision
• Preparing treatment areas and equipment for patient care
• Cleaning and maintaining treatment areas and equipment throughout the day
• Encouraging patients and providing appropriate verbal feedback
• Anticipating patient needs and helping create an exceptional patient experience
• Accurately documenting exercise information as directed
• Calling patients to confirm upcoming appointments
• Following up with patients who miss scheduled appointments
• Assisting the front office with incoming calls, scheduling, and patient questions when needed
• Helping with scanning, filing, and other clinic support responsibilities
• Maintaining a clean, organized, professional, and safe clinical environment
• Communicating effectively with patients, therapists, and other team members
• Working with the entire team to maintain a patient arrival rate of 90% or greater
• Bringing energy, positivity, and teamwork to the clinic every day

What We're Looking For

Our ideal candidate is someone who takes initiative, follows through, and understands that excellent patient care takes the entire team.

Preferred qualifications include:

• Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology, Sports & Human Performance, Exercise Science, or a related field , or currently nearing completion of your degree
• Strong interest in physical therapy, rehabilitation, fitness, or healthcare
• Self-starter who sees what needs to be done and takes initiative
• Reliable, dependable, and committed to showing up as scheduled
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Comfortable interacting with patients both in person and over the phone
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Fluent bilingual skills in English and Spanish preferred
• Previous Physical Therapy Rehab Technician experience is a plus, but not required for the right candidate
