Per Diem on call hours, occasionally day coverage.

Job Type: Per Diem

The Nuclear Med Tech performs a variety of Nuclear Medicine procedures and is responsible for patient safety protocols. Prepares, measures and administers radiopharmaceuticals for use in diagnostic and therapeutic studies

Responsibilities

• Performs all Nuclear Medicine technical duties.
• Obtains all required documentation/supplies.
• Assures correct patient information on requests, reports and PAC's.
• Organizes work area and maintains supplies.

Qualifications

Education:

• Required: Graduate of Allied Health Program

Experience:

• 0-2 yrs

License:

• CERTIFIED NUCLEAR MEDICINE TECHNOLOGISTS(NMTCB)

Certifications:

• BLS/CPR (AMERICAN HEART ASSN)

About the Team

St. Marys Medical Center (SMMC), part of the Palm Beach Health Network, is a 420-bed acute care hospital in West Palm Beach. The hospital has been serving Palm Beach County and the Treasure Coast for more than 80 years. SMMC is a Level 1 Trauma Center, a state-designated Pediatric Trauma Referral Center, certified Comprehensive Stoke Center, and has a level III NICU.
