This professional-level position gives you the capacity for independent operations as you apply discretion and good judgment toward ensuring high-quality therapeutic care.Responsibilities:You will provide skilled physical therapy in accordance with the physician's plan of careYou will assist the physician in evaluation and assessment of the patient's functional levelYou will treat patients to relieve pain, develop and restore function and maintain maximum performanceYou will observe, record and report the patient's reaction to treatment and any changes in conditionYou will instruct and advise patients, family and other health team members in the phases of physical therapyYou will evaluate and regularly re-evaluateRequirements:Successful completion of a physical therapy program at a school of physical therapy approved by the American Physical Therapy Association or the Council on Medical Education and Hospitals of the American Medical Association or both; If licensed or registered prior to 1966, meets the alternative qualifications cited in the Medicare Conditions of Participation, Section 405, 12 or (1) (2) (3) (4)Licensed in the State of Washington as a physical therapistHealth Care Provider level CPR certificationCurrent Washington state driver's licenseMinimum of one (1) year of physical therapy experienceExperience in Medicare Certified Home Health preferredProof of a safe driving record (which meets established MultiCare Standards) obtained by a motor vehicle report from the appropriate stateAbout Yakima Memorial HospitalMultiCare Yakima Memorial Hospital has served the Yakima Valley since 1950. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $53.48 - $72.35 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education.
