Forklift Operator

Location: Fontana
Pay rate: $17.00
Shifts: 1st - Monday-Friday 9 :00 am-6:00 pm/available to work weekends if needed.
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Sit Down & Stand Up Forklift Operator to join our warehouse team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating sit down and stand up forklifts to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse. Additionally, the role includes performing general warehouse labor duties to ensure efficient operations.
Responsibilities:

• Operate Forklifts: Safely and efficiently operate sit down and stand up forklifts to load and unload materials from trucks, trailers, and storage areas.
• Move Stock: Transport stock to designated locations within the warehouse, ensuring accurate placement and organization.
• Inventory Management: Assist with inventory control by scanning and verifying incoming and outgoing shipments.
• General Warehouse Duties: Perform tasks such as packing, wrapping, labeling, and shipping orders, as well as maintaining a clean and orderly work environment.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Equipment Maintenance: Conduct routine checks and maintenance on forklifts and other warehouse equipment to ensure proper functioning.
• Report Issues: Promptly report any equipment malfunctions, damaged goods, or discrepancies to the warehouse manager.

• Experience: Previous experience as a forklift operator, preferably with both sit down and stand up forklifts.
• Certifications: Valid forklift operator certification(s) required.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and operate machinery for extended periods.
• Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate handling and placement of materials.
• Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with other warehouse staff and follow instructions.
• High School Diploma or GED: Minimum educational requirement.
