Spokane R-VII is seeking a paraprofessionas to work during the 2026-2027 school year on the Spokane campus. This position requires 60 college credits, or parapro exam certificate. This position will consist of the following job tasks: Assist individual students in performing activities initiated by the teachers. Supervise students in the hallway, lunchroom, and playground. Assist in monitoring supplementary work and independent study. Reinforce learning in small groups or with individuals while the teacher works with other students. Provide assistance with individualized programmed materials. Assist the teacher with crisis problems, behavior management and implementation of Behavior Plans. Carry out instructional programs designed by the teacher. Assist students with personal hygiene and or self - care as needed and directed by the teacher. The position begins as soon as possible.
