Description: The purpose of this unit profile is to provide an exceptional overview of the unit. The unit has 4 beds and a patient ratio of 1:4. There is 1 nurse and 1 tech available for staffing. The documentation system used is Meditech. Scheduling requirements include three 12-hour shifts and rotating weekends. Floating may occur to Medsurg/Tele as needed. Patient experience requirements include bedside reporting and creating a personal connection with each patient. All whiteboards must be updated with each shift. The required uniform is black scrubs. Unit guidelines and policies should be reviewed. Additional highlights include working alongside experienced nurses in a friendly culture that excels in teamwork.
