Adaptive Physical Education Teacher

Adapted Physical Education TeacherUnder the supervision of the Director of Special Education, the Adapted Physical Education teacher will support students and work collaboratively and independently with all constituents in a diverse environment committed to equity and students' social emotional wellness. They will provide adapted physical education services (direct and/or consult), including assessments, program development and direct instruction to students enrolled in Culver City Unified School District (CCUSD).A valid teaching credential authorizing teaching Adaptive Physical Education at the secondary level. CLAD/English Language Learner certification or equivalent is required. Will provide Adaptive PE services to all sites of the Culver City Unified School District, grade levels TK-12, and students in the Adult Transition Program. Must have use of a vehicle to visit from site to site and possibly transport equipment/materials. Secondary sites have a PE room. A physical examination clearance is required for certain positions for the district.
