Job Summary & Schedule:
We offer shifts that help support your life outside of work, with NO on-call shifts and NO after-hours emergencies . We welcome both full-time and part-time applicants. Our current full-time schedule features a reasonable caseload volume and results in alternating 3-day weekends that can easily stretch out your PTO:
Week One: Monday through Thursday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM (with a 1-hour lunch break).
Week Two: Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM (with a 1-hour lunch break) plus Saturday from 8:00 AM to Noon.
Qualifications we are looking for:
To help us provide consistent, high-quality care, we are looking for a doctor who brings the following to our team:
Education & Licensure: A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree and current licensure (or eligibility for licensure) in Minnesota.
Experience Level: We prefer a minimum of one year of clinical experience in a small animal practice, but newer graduates are absolutely welcome to apply! We provide reliable onsite mentorship and collaboration.
Clinical Skills: Comfort with or a desire to grow in general medicine, patient appointments, common soft tissue surgeries, and dental and oral health procedures.
Interpersonal Qualities: Strong communication skills, emotional intelligence, empathy, and a collaborative spirit.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Your day-to-day responsibilities will be typical for an associate veterinarian position, kept at a highly manageable volume:
· Providing patient examinations, preventive veterinary care, and general medicine.
· Performing oral health assessments and dental procedures.
· Conducting common soft tissue surgeries, diagnostic imaging, and interpreting lab results.
· Utilizing modern tools—we use electronic Idexx Cornerstone records, the Vello texting app for quick client conversations, and we are currently exploring AI-assisted SOAPs and imaging interpretation.

Where would we be without our incredible team? You will be supported by skilled, experienced Licensed Veterinary Technicians at a ratio of 1–2 LVTs per doctor , alongside additional assistants and CSRs. Our happy staff and low turnover translate directly into a better workflow for you.
Our facility is fully equipped with an in-house lab, digital rads, digital dental rads, ultrasound, surgical monitoring, electric cautery, tonopen, and a reference lab with twice-daily pickups for same-day turnaround. Mentorship and external imaging/surgical consults are easily accessible.
Wage and Benefit Package:
Salary: Straight salary of $120,000 – $135,000 (negotiable based on experience and schedule).
