Welcome to Baylor Surgicare Fort Worth I – where our surgical expertise meets a service-oriented environment for unparalleled patient care!Baylor Surgicare Fort Worth Iis seeking a Radiology Technologist to join our team!!Radiology Technologist at Baylor Surgicare Fort Worth I: Performs the described duties in the primary work area and demonstrate competency in the following: orthopedic radiology, pediatric radiology, operating room Radiology, outpatient Radiology, Operate the C-arm, Operate Mini C-arm.Performs a variety of technical tasks involved in operating x ray equipment to make radiographs of designated portions of the body as specified by physician; adjust equipment for proper exposure, voltage and current in accordance with prescribed radiation safety procedures.Determines, prepares and sets up medical supplies, instruments and equipment; positions patients for each anatomical view specified using immobilization and protective devices as required; reports any changes in patient condition to attending medical staff.Records amount and type of film exposed; label film with identifying information; sort as required.Consults with lead x-ray tech and radiologist to ensure compliance with established standards of quality.Processes film in accordance with standardized procedures and maintain assigned work area in clean and orderly condition.Why Choose Baylor Surgicare Fort Worth?Work-Life Harmony: Enjoy a work environment that values your time and well-being.
