Description What You Will Do

• Conduct routine and advanced clinical lab tests across various disciplines, including chemistry, hematology, and immunology, while strictly adhering to established protocols.
• Evaluate test results for accuracy, troubleshoot any discrepancies, and perform routine maintenance and calibration on laboratory equipment.
• Assist with the collection of specimens and ensure samples are appropriately prepared for testing.
• Meticulously document all laboratory procedures, mentor new staff or students, and uphold rigorous lab quality standards.
• Maintain a sanitary, secure working environment that meets all regulatory and accreditation standards.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or equivalent allied health degree, coupled with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be obtained within one year of employment.
• Continuously maintain current certification throughout your career.
