About the Position

Job Title: Operating Room Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years in the specialty required License: Current RN license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, CNOR, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC Must-Have: - Experience with craniotomy and burr hole procedures - Neuro/Spine, Ortho/Trauma, General/Robotics/Trauma experience required Description: Start date in the next 3-5 weeks preferred. Block scheduling available for Mon, Tues, and Wed with call and late days as required. Previous charge experience is preferred. Patient ratios of 1:1 on all shifts. Experience with trauma Level I and Level II preferred. Community hospital experience is a plus. Charting system experience preferred. Skills required include, but are not limited to, amputations, anterior cervical fusion, and total joint replacement. Candidates must have experience with Da Vinci Xi Surgical System. Clinicians must be available to complete needed lab items within 72 hours of accepting the offer or have a plan in place for completion. Candidates should avoid any products that could lead to a positive drug screen result. Travel experience is preferred. Modules are non-billable and accounted for in non-billable hours. Modules average between 6-8 hours and must be completed during the orientation.
