Metabolic Educator

Position Overview Inizio Engage has partnered with Boehringer Ingelheim to deliver impactful clinical education and support for Healthcare Professionals across primary care settings. We are seeking experienced, credentialed educators for Obesity/Liver Disease on behalf of Boehringer Ingelheim who are passionate about metabolic health and driven to improve understanding of obesity and liver disease through high-quality disease-state education. Responsibilities Provide disease state-related educational support, awareness, and resources to identified Healthcare Professionals and to office staff as agreed with the client and Inizio Engage. Present educational programs, both live and virtual, to Healthcare Professionals in accordance with the needs of each office. Foster awareness of speaker sessions to HCPs through client’s speaker bureau. Provide support at client convention booths. Collaborate effectively with cross-functional and matrix partners to align on strategy, share insights, and drive cohesive execution of organizational goals. Only use or distribute approved materials provided by the client, without changing, or copying the materials. Attend and complete all training courses and related competency assessments that Inizio Engage and client requires, to an appropriate standard and within a specified timeframe. Develop and strengthen relationships with appropriate customers and other matrix partners. Facilitate the development and provision of education and educational materials across specified accounts, as determined by the client and Inizio Engage. Complete all required administrative responsibilities in a timely manner (daily computer updates, weekly summary of activity reports, emails, and monthly expense reports). Maintain professional registration and/or licensing as required by applicable state laws. Attend local and other meetings, as required, to keep abreast of plans, activities and developments and to exchange knowledge and experience within the team. Maintain all company equipment and materials in accordance with company instructions. Comply with all Inizio Engage Policies and Procedures, along with all Client Policies and Procedures as required. Be contactable during working hours to answer queries. Possess a full valid US driver’s license at all times and notify the company immediately of any offences or accumulation of penalty points. Perform other duties as requested. Qualifications Required Registered Nurse (BSN required), Registered Dietitian (Bachelor's in Nutrition required), Advanced Practice Registered Nurse, or Physician Assistant with 3+ years of post-education clinical experience. Active U.S. healthcare license in area of training. Experience in metabolic health required. Demonstrate effective and professional communication. Ability to present to various groups of people including physicians and other members of the office staff. Valid U.S. driver's license. Preferred Certified Obesity Educator. Certificate of Advanced Education in Obesity Medicine. Certified Diabetes Educator. Demonstrate effective and professional communication. Ability to present to various groups of people including physicians and other members of the office staff. Mandatory Work up to 20% overnight travel. Occasional weekends may be required. Jobholder may be required to obtain specific disease state certification in obesity and metabolic disorders within first year of employment. Compensation Base pay range for this position is $88,000 – $163,000 per year. The final compensation offered to a successful candidate will be determined by factors such as experience, skills, internal equity, and business needs.
