Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Cardiothoracic ICU position requiring at least 2 years of CVICU experience and a KS or compact RN license.

Details

• 20-bed cardiothoracic ICU caring for cardiac and thoracic surgery patients
• Night shift schedule from 19:00-07:30
• 13-week assignment

Requirements

• Active KS or compact RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certification (AHA required)
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required
• CPI/MOAB High Risk training (online and on-site portions) required
• Minimum 2 years of relevant nursing experience required
• Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start
• Current license and primary source verification required within 30 days prior to start
• Must provide a U.S. Social Security Number and U.S. home address

Additional Information

• Provide critical care nursing support to cardiac and thoracic surgery patients in a high-acuity ICU setting
• On-site portion of CPI/MOAB High-Risk training completed during orientation
• Radius rule applies, allowing local candidates at a reduced rate depending on facility location
• Candidates should discuss extension opportunities with their manager approximately 45 days before assignment end date
• First-time travelers may be considered for this position
