Additional perks of wellness programs and discounts on cleaning products!POSITION SUMMARYThe Dish Machine Technician maintains, troubleshoots, services, and refurbishes various ware-washing, dishwashing, and dispensing machines. This includes adhering to updated safety protocols and procedures outlined in the latest Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). This role also emphasizes maintaining a clean, organized workspace and complying with all ISO, safety, and quality standards.POSITION RESPONSIBILITIESRefurbish, diagnose and repair commercial dish machines.Conduct preventive maintenance inspections and document findings in the maintenance log.Maintain an organized, compliant workspace, including proper storage of hazardous materials. Assist with general facility maintenance, such as cleaning, organizing, and equipment upkeep.Participate in inventory management, including tracking parts usage and ensuring adequate stock levels.Provide support for training new team members and sharing expertise in troubleshooting.Additional duties and responsibilities may be assigned by the team lead or manager as workload dictates.SKILLS / COMPETENCYKnowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, preferred.Proficiency with diagnostic tools, power tools, and hand tools.Analytical and decision-making skills to diagnose and resolve equipment failures.Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in physically demanding environments.EXPERIENCE REQUIRED1-2 years of experience in mechanical or electrical repair.Strong mechanical aptitude with proven ability to work in environments involving chemicals and hazardous materials.PRE-HIRE TRAININGHigh school diploma or equivalent (required).Electrical Certification and/or HVAC Certification PreferredEMPLOYEE TRAINING REQUIREDComprehensive new hire orientation.Hazard Communication and Right-to-Know training.Basic and advanced safety training, including lockout/tagout (LOTO) and hazardous material handling.Updated hazardous spill response training, per SOP revisions.INTERNAL / EXTERNAL INTERFACE LEVELSCollaborate with internal departments, including management, refurbishment teams, and safety personnel.SUPERVISESNo direct supervision responsibilities.
