Calling all Occupational Therapists and Speech-Language Pathologists with a passion for working in schools! Discover a fantastic contract opportunity supporting students across K-12 grades near the Wilkes Barre, PA area. This short-term assignment is perfect for professionals looking to make an impact during the Extended School Year (ESY) session this summer.

You'll collaborate closely with educators and other therapists to provide high-quality interventions, helping students achieve their goals in a supportive, dynamic environment. There are two openings available—one for an OT and one for an SLP—each dedicated to creating positive experiences for students during ESY.

What we're seeking:

• Active state license as an Occupational Therapist or Speech-Language Pathologist
• Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred
• Commitment to fostering student growth and progress
• Effective communication skills for working with a diverse student population
• Flexibility to adapt strategies to individual student needs
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

What you'll be doing:

• Delivering direct and consultative therapy services to K-12 students
• Developing and implementing individualized therapy plans
• Collaborating with teachers, family members, and school staff to support student achievement
• Tracking and documenting student progress
• Participating in IEP meetings and contributing to student support teams
• Supporting a positive, inclusive learning environment

This contract assignment runs from June 29th to August 6th with a consistent schedule—Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 8:45 am to 12:15 pm—allowing for a great work-life balance while enriching students’ summer learning journeys.
