Medical Assistant (certified)

Certified Medical Assistant needed for a contract opportunity with Yoh’s occupational health clinic located in Joliet, IL. Schedule: Monday and Wednesday 10am- 7pm, Tuesday and Thursday Friday 8am-5pm Duration: 8/10-11/8 with possible extension or direct placement Pay: $19-25/hr DOE What You’ll Be Doing: Interviews patients, measures vital signs, such as pulse rate, temperature, blood pressure, weight, and height, and records information on patients' charts Prepares treatment rooms and patients for examination Cleans and sterilizes instruments Inventories and orders medical supplies and materials Operates electrocardiograph (EKG) and other equipment to administer routine diagnostic tests Gives injections or treatments and performs routine laboratory tests Schedules appointments and makes follow up phone calls to patients Performs administrative tasks, completes appropriate client company and OSHA regulated forms, and provides assistance at front desk Keys data into computer to maintain clinic and patient records May require other duties as assigned What You Need to Bring to the Table: National certification in Medical or Nursing Assisting (Diploma only not accepted – must have certification) BLS upon hire 2+ years of clinical experience Bilingual is a plus Epic EMR experience is a plus What’s In It For You: Join Yoh’s extensive talent community that will provide you with access to Yoh’s vast network of opportunities.
