Job Description OB/Gyn Hospitalist Near New York City Located in Edison, NJFull Time & Permanent Position. About the Role -Flexibility and work/life balance: enjoy a flexible schedule with the choice of 5 shifts per month and up to 8 shifts per calendar month.-Opportunity to recharge and/or pursue personal interests with the added benefit of no billing or coding responsibilities.-Professional growth: collaborate with our medical director in conducting quarterly drills and simulations and nursing education.This position entails providing 24-hour, in-house OB/Gyn hospitalist shifts plus occasional daytime full scope OB/Gyn services in family medicine residency clinic. The patients receiving prenatal care at the clinic will be referred to our OB/Gyn hospitalist team for their inpatient care.Candidates must have the ability to partner with nursing, be comfortable working with and supporting certified nurse midwives and family medicine (FM) residents in the outpatient setting. The gynecology surgical cases that arise from the clinic may be supported by the OBGYN hospitalist team. This position includes coverage of ED and inpatient GYN consultations.The ideal candidate will be a board-certified OB/GYN physician with active and current skills in the full breadth of the OB/GYN specialty, and a current New Jersey license to practice. Candidates must be open to teaching medical students and family medicine residents.Competitive compensation with an estimated base salary range of $160 hourly with the opportunity to earn additional compensation through our RVU incentive plan.
