The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in Python, Java, Spring Boot, and Oracle PL/SQL, along with hands-on experience in developing AI agents and utilizing modern AI tools. This role requires a dynamic individual who can lead complex technical projects, particularly in the AI space, manage stakeholder expectations, and deliver high-quality, innovative solutions under tight deadlines. The AVP will be instrumental in driving the successful implementation of our AI initiatives and ensuring they align with our strategic business goals.The Applications Development Senior Programmer Analyst is responsible for participation in the establishment and implementation of new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to contribute to applications systems analysis and programming activities.Responsibilities:Design, develop, and implement Java and AI-powered solutions, and contribute in the creation and refinement of AI agentsConduct systems analysis and programming for complex software applications with a focus on scalability and performanceStay current with the latest advancements in AI/ML and identify opportunities to apply them to solve business challengesLead the planning, execution, and delivery of technology projects, from conception to completion, with a focus on AI-related initiativesImplement and oversee project management techniques and methodologies to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budgetDevelop detailed project plans, track progress, and manage project resources effectivelyProvide technical guidance and mentorship to the development team in Java, Spring Boot, Python, and AI technologiesCollaborate with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and technical requirementsCommunicate project status, risks, and technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.Effectively manage and respond to unexpected changes in project requirements, timelines, or expectationsProactively identify and mitigate project risks and issues, demonstrating the ability to work well under pressureThrive in a fast-paced, innovative environment and manage multiple deadlines and priorities with a calm and focused approachConsult with users/clients and other technology groups on issues, recommend advanced programming solutions, and install and assist customer exposure systemsEnsure essential procedures are followed and help define operating standards and processesHas the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision. Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy.
