As a Security Officer Hospital in Detroit, MI , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer in a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support patients, visitors, and staff with exceptional customer service and communication. - Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout healthcare buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with location protocols, offering directions and assistance while supporting a professional environment.
- Assist with de-escalation support and other security-related responses involving patients and/or visitors, following post orders and reporting procedures.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Requires a Valid Drivers License for at least 1 year
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
