SAP EWM Consultant

Job Summary

The SAP EWM Consultant will be responsible for end-to-end SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) implementations, rollouts, and support activities. This role involves designing, configuring, and optimizing SAP EWM solutions, integrating with core SAP modules, and collaborating closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to deliver scalable warehouse solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead SAP EWM implementation, rollout, and support engagements
• Design and configure SAP EWM modules to meet business requirements
• Perform integration of SAP EWM with MM, SD, and PP modules
• Analyze planning-to-procurement and schedule-to-deliver business processes
• Configure and manage EWM organizational elements, master data, and structural elements
• Work extensively with Warehouse Monitor, RF Framework, Goods Receipt (GR), Goods Issue (GI), and Physical Inventory processes
• Implement process-oriented and layout-oriented storage control
• Support production supply, slotting, rearrangement, replenishment, wave management, and cross-docking
• Perform detailed analysis of complex business requirements and propose optimal system solutions
• Map client business processes and identify gaps, issues, and workaround solutions
• Design, customize, configure, and test SAP EWM solutions
• Collaborate with developers by preparing Functional Specifications (FS) for custom developments
• Support end-user training and provide hypercare support post go-live

Required Skills & Experience

• 8+ years of hands-on experience in SAP EWM implementation, rollout, and support
• Strong expertise in SAP EWM configuration and design
• Experience integrating SAP EWM with SAP MM, SD, and PP modules
• Deep understanding of warehouse processes and logistics execution
• Hands-on experience with replenishment processing, wave management, and cross-docking
• Experience handling RICEF objects, including custom transactions
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience working directly with business users and stakeholders
