Job Description Job Responsibilities: We are looking for a Junior Market Research Analyst to join our Customer & Market Insights (CMI) team within Life Science Business This position will provide support to the overall CMI team, which is a truly international team with managers sitting in Paris (France), Boston (USA), St. Louis (USA), and San Diego (USA). The CMI team provides insights to all franchises within the global Life Science . As part of Customer & Market Insights (CMI) department, you will be assigned to ad-hoc projects covering a wide range of topics: Market Mapping, Innovation Management, Competitive Intelligence, New Product Testing and Customer Journey Studies. You will provide insights and analysis to enable decision making across the entire life science business. You will position yourself as a partner / internal “consultant” for Marketing / Innovation Management / Corporate Strategy and you have a strong ability to cooperate with and integrate into cross-functional teams. Thinking outside of the box is encouraged with this role. You will be expected to lead and deliver valuable Consumer and Market insights, mapping customer information, in order to advise in customer-led guidance to R&D projects. Qualifications: MBA or BA in Business or economics Background in Life science or related discipline is a plus Previous market research consulting experience is a plus Excellent analytical and communication skills Excellent data visualization skills (e.g. creating charts, graphs and dashboard style reports) Ability to synthesize big data and develop meaningful conclusions, insights, and recommendations Ability to listen, understand needs of internal clients, and propose best solutions Creative, curious, and goal-oriented Independent, reliable, with entrepreneurial spirit Team player, ability to work with co-workers, internal and external stakeholders Good knowledge of statistics, experienced in power point, excel, word and analytical software tools The ideal candidate should have a combination of consultative experience (particularly in helping clients improve their marketing performance) coupled with quantitative analytical skills.
