Key Responsibilities\n

  • Conduct thorough intake assessments and screenings to assess students’ mental health needs and formulate effective treatment plans tailored to each individual.

  • Facilitate therapy groups and dynamic workshops focused on topics such as stress management, academic pressure, and interpersonal relationships.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role specifically addresses the mental health challenges faced by university students, encompassing a wide range of concerns including anxiety, depression, adjustment disorders, and academic-related stress. Counselors will work closely with students from diverse backgrounds, enabling them to navigate an array of life transitions and pressures associated with higher education.

Qualifications\n

  • A current and valid professional license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

  • A minimum of a bachelor's degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field is required; advanced degrees are preferred.
