Full-Stack Software Engineer, India

Role Overview

Build and stress-test production software that brings frontier large language models into real applications before release. You will work directly with an engineering manager on fast-moving generative AI projects, ramp up quickly, and contribute working code early.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and deliver full-stack applications, services, and internal tools using Python, Java, Rust, C#, C++, or TypeScript to exercise model capabilities end to end.
• Integrate pre-release model APIs into functional software, including tool interfaces, evaluation harnesses, and telemetry.
• Investigate and document model and integration failures found during development, then provide clear written feedback to the research team.
• Rapidly prototype against evolving requirements and deliver working increments with limited upfront specification.
• Partner with the engineering manager and fellow engineers to uphold code quality, architecture, and technical-documentation standards.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of dedicated professional experience building and shipping production software at a recognized top-tier organization.
• Production experience in at least one of Python, Java, Rust, C#, or C++, plus working proficiency in a second language. The team is intentionally staffed across multiple language ecosystems.
• Hands-on full-stack experience with backend services and APIs, a modern front-end framework such as React or equivalent, relational or document databases, and cloud deployment.
• A demonstrated ability to join an unfamiliar codebase and deliver working code quickly with minimal ramp-up.
• Demonstrable career progression.
• Strong written communication skills, including the ability to explain complex technical decisions clearly.

Work Terms

• Hourly, full-time engagement based in India.
• Commitment of 40 hours per week during weekdays.

Compensation

• 25 to 30 per hour.
