As a System Engineer on the Medusa program, you be responsible for development and maintenance of system requirements.In this role, you will:Support the requirement and verification leadMaintain requirements and verification data in a requirements management tool (i.e. DOORS)Coordinate and document verification planningSupport requirements reviews (e.g., SRR, PDR, CDR)The information below includes the standard job description for this positionPerforms technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications. For positions that perform IT responsibilities, use E646, Systems Engr-IT.Basic QualificationsBachelor Degree in an engineering or related discipline.Systems engineering experience within requirements, verification, and validation.Knowledge or experience with missile, defense, aerospace, or related systems.Knowledge or experience with DOORS or another requirements management tool.
