Quality Assurance TesterCandidates must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future visa sponsorship.This position is for full-time, onsite employment at the Family Dollar Chesapeake Store Support Center.General Summary:As a Quality Assurance Tester, you will be part of a team that is responsible for testing solutions that are vital to Family Dollar. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys solving problems, being a part of a collaborative group, and enjoys working on a variety of products.Principal Duties & Responsibilities:Create/Execute Test plans and scripts based on the project artifacts (business, functional and non-functional requirements) created by development and business teamPerform data validation using queries, SQL and other toolsTrack and report the various defects and map them to the various development life cycles of the projectWork closely with TCoE, project and solutions teams to develop and enforce quality standardsConfirm functional capabilities of final products and solutionsConfirm stability (response time, etc.) of final products and solutionsParticipate in and contribute during defect triage callsUpdate and maintain Daily and Weekly QA Status reports and metricsProactively raise, escalate and communicate quality issuesWillingness to learn new technologies, tools and applications to support the businessPosition Requirements:3+ years testing experienceExperience in functional testing techniques including system acceptance and regression testingMinimum of one-year hands on experience using UI path RPA test automation tool or equivalent, in addition to scripting languages like Playwright, python etc.Experience with Microsoft Excel and other office products and defect tracking tools such as Zephyr, JIRA or equivalentStrong analytical and communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with other teamsExperience with various life cycles testing but not limited to system testing, integration testing, User acceptance testing and end-to-end testingWorking knowledge in testing methodologies based on its relevance to the development life cycleAbility to work independentlyDesired Qualifications:Prior work experience in Retail domainExperience with RPA automated test tools, ideally UiPathExperience with scripting languages like Playwright, PythonExperience working Agile project processExperience testing applications running on iSeriesProjected Salary Range: $77,000 - $95,500.Family Dollar is an equal opportunity employer and committed to recruiting, hiring, training, and promoting qualified people of all backgrounds, and makes all employment decisions without regard to any protected status.
