Licensed Speech Therapist Neuro & Trauma Specialty

This is a 13-week contract position.

Join our team as a Licensed Speech Therapist specializing in neuro and trauma rehabilitation. This position focuses on inpatient therapy, with potential opportunities for outpatient care. You will play a vital role in evaluating and treating patients with neurological conditions such as stroke, traumatic brain injury (TBI), Parkinson's disease, as well as conducting cognitive evaluations for home safety and swallow studies.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations for speech and language disorders related to neuro and trauma cases.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients.
• Provide therapy interventions for conditions such as stroke, TBI, and cognitive impairments.
• Complete swallow studies and assessments as required.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient care and outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Must hold a valid Speech Therapist license in the state of Nebraska.
• Current American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Providers certification.
• Experience in neuro rehabilitation and trauma care preferred.
