Quality Inspector

Quality TechnicianWe are seeking a Quality Technician to join a high-precision aerospace machine shop. This role is crucial in ensuring that custom, high-value aerospace components meet exacting quality and dimensional requirements. The ideal candidate will possess strong attention to detail, solid communication skills, and prior experience in machine shop quality inspection.Responsibilities:Perform detailed inspections on custom aerospace machined parts.Use precision inspection equipment including calipers, micrometers, height gauges, optical comparators, and other precision measurement tools and gauges.Inspect parts to tight tolerances and aerospace quality standards.Document inspection results clearly and accurately.Communicate findings with Quality, Machining, and Engineering teams.Maintain focus and accuracy during long, detailed inspections.Support continuous improvement and quality compliance initiatives.Essential Skills:3+ years of quality inspection experience in a machine shop or manufacturing environment.Strong experience inspecting machined metal parts.Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.High level of attention to detail and accuracy.Strong communication skills and ability to document findings clearly.Comfortable inspecting high-dollar, custom parts where quality is critical.Additional Skills & Qualifications:Mechanical aptitude.Experience with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).Familiarity with medical device inspection is advantageous.Why Work Here?Join a team dedicated to precision and quality in the aerospace industry.
