About the Role

The Company is seeking a VP, US Marketing to play a pivotal role in the brand planning and execution of RNA therapeutic products in the U.S. market. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a marketing team that encompasses brand, HCP, patient, and digital marketing efforts. This senior leader will be instrumental in pre-commercialization activities, including creating a comprehensive marketing plan, and will work closely with cross-functional teams to support product launch and commercialization. Key responsibilities include building strategic partnerships with key opinion leaders, patient advocacy groups, and healthcare professionals, as well as ensuring compliance with US regulations for marketing treatments, particularly those related to rare diseases. Applicants for the VP, US Marketing role at the company should have a Bachelor's degree (MBA or Advanced Degree preferred) and a minimum of 15 years' experience in the life sciences industry. The role requires a proven track record in strategic and brand marketing, with at least 8 years' experience leading regional marketing teams. Experience in rare disease launch and commercialization in the U.S. is essential, and a background in antibody delivery or siRNA and PMO is a plus. The ideal candidate will have a strong network of industry contacts, excellent communication skills, and the ability to lead a marketing team in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The position demands a high level of commitment, with the expectation of working from the La Jolla office at least 40% of the time and the ability to travel as needed.
