Are you mechanically inclined, enjoy working with your hands, and like having something different to do each day? A to Z Machine Company is looking for a Utility Operator to support a variety of functions throughout our machine and production shops.
This is a great opportunity to build your manufacturing skills, cross-train in different areas, and become an important part of the team.
✨ What You'll Do:
???? Support various machine shop and production operations
???? Assist with truck driving, loading/unloading, and material handling
???? Support shipping & receiving activities
???? Assemble parts using bolts, clips, screws, and other fasteners
???? Perform basic inspection of finished assemblies
???? Polish, saw, grind, and deburr parts
???? Learn to read blueprints and efficiently assemble/disassemble parts
???? Train to safely operate forklifts, cranes, and company vehicles
???? Follow 5S, ISO/quality, and safety procedures
???? Shift Options:
1st Shift: Monday–Friday | 6:00 AM – 3:00 PM
2nd Shift:
• Monday–Wednesday | 2:30 PM – 2:30 AM
• Thursday | 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM
✅ You're a Great Fit If You Have:
???? High School Diploma or GED
???? 1+ year of manufacturing experience preferred
???? Strong mechanical aptitude
???? Willingness to learn forklift, crane & equipment operation
???? Blueprint reading experience is a plus
???? Self-motivated with a strong work ethic
???? Positive attitude and team-focused mindset
???? Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
