Per Diem Specialty Pharmacy Technician

The Specialty Pharmacy Technician will effectively support the successful implementation and execution of all pharmacy programs and processes. The Specialty Pharmacy Technician will provide support to the pharmacy staff to ensure applicable program processes and operational responsibilities are met.
Schedule : Open 7 days per week, per diem, Weekdays: 7:30am - 8:00pm PST. Weekends: 8:00am - 7: 00 pm PST Rotating holidays and weekends. Contacting patients, pharmacists and doctors offices to resolve claims issues 
Resolve customer issues; Consistently meet established productivity, schedule adherence, and quality standards while maintaining a good attendance record
Fulfillment of prescription orders
Ability to interpret prescription orders and enter into the pharmacy system
Answering the telephone utilizing appropriate etiquette
Documenting interventions and tracking outcomes with Pharmacy team

High School Diploma/GED
Pharmacy trainee license or Pharmacy Technician License
Intermediate level of proficiency with computers using Windows PC applications, and the ability to learn new and complex computer system applications
Ability to work variable shifts which may include days, evenings, weekends, and holidays (Mon-Fri hours: 7:30am - 8pm, Sat/Sun: 8am-7pm)
PTCB (Pharmacy Technician Certification Board) Certified 
~2+ years of Pharmacy Technician experience
~6+ months of experience with insurance claims processing, rejection, and resolution
~ Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $16.00 to $29.00 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
