As a Security Officer - Experienced Guard in Mesa, AZ , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal in a dynamic tech location where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, support access activity, and stay visible to help discourage security-related incidents. In this unarmed role, you will deliver outstanding customer service and communication while working with a team that values agility, reliability, innovation, and integrity in a people-first culture.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access support, and security-related policies at a technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report relevant details to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry points, verify credentials, and support visitor processing in accordance with site protocols for a high-profile operations environment.
• Document daily activities, observations, and/or incidents with clear written reports, and communicate important updates during shift turnover and with site personnel as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
