Job Description
We are looking for a hard-working dependable Eddy Current Testing (ECT) Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have some experience in electronics and/or be able to do physically demanding work and be willing to travel. We will train the right candidate to perform nondestructive testing (NDT) for HVAC cooling/Industrial Chillers.
Responsibilities:
• Perform Eddy Current Testing on a variety of metallic components to identify surface and
subsurface flaws with accuracy and consistency.
• Set up and operate ECT equipment and properly evaluate inspection results.
• Identify, document, and report indications or defects accurately.
• Complete inspection reports and maintain accurate testing records.
• Work safely and follow all company, customer, and job-site safety requirements.
• Work outdoors, in industrial environments, and in physically demanding conditions
when required.
• Travel to customer locations and job sites as needed.
• Work extended hours, weekends, or varying schedules when project requirements demand it.
• Maintain and care for inspection equipment.
Qualifications:
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow technical procedures.
• Good communication and documentation skills.
• Technical experience preferred but not necessary for the right candidate.
