We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Full Time Auto Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, with a focus on delivering exceptional service to our customers. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of various automotive systems and the ability to diagnose and repair vehicles efficiently. Responsibilities
- Perform thorough automotive diagnostics to identify issues and determine necessary repairs.
- Conduct routine vehicle maintenance, including oil changes, tire service, and brake repair.
- Repair and replace components such as transmissions, powertrain systems, suspension parts, shocks & struts, and brakes.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various repair tasks.
- Interpret schematics for electrical systems and perform repairs on automotive electrical systems.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their vehicle's needs.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to company policies.
Qualifications
- Proven mechanic experience with a strong mechanical knowledge of vehicles.
- Dealership experience is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) is a plus.
- Proficient in automotive diagnostics and repair techniques.
- Experience with GM vehicles is advantageous.
- Ability to perform welding tasks as needed.
- Strong customer service skills to enhance client relationships.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
