We are looking to hire fast and expect this resource to start soon.Title: Senior Software Engineer ConsultantLocation: REMOTE - 6 month contractShift: Monday-Friday, 8-5 ESTSummary: You are an experienced, self-organized, and motivated individual, familiar with all product development phases (planning, design, testing, implementation, deployment, and maintenance). A combination of software solutions development expertise, advanced technical skills and knowledge of various processes, tools, with excellent understanding of business, functional and non-functional, requirements give you the opportunity to contribute to the development of software-based solutions that are tailored to business specific needs.Responsibilities:Design and development of new software features and functionalities in collaboration with the lead developer, solution architect, product owner, business analyst and architecture team, with a strong focus on creating and generating business value.Responsible for the development of high quality, scalable and maintainable systems using service oriented and modular architecture.Evaluate vendor solutions or components for functional fit, robustness, flexibility and technical riskConfigure and troubleshoot the implementation of vendor solutions or componentsIdentify and communicate technical risks, and propose mitigation actionsEnsure compliance with relevant business and technical processes, methods and toolsAvailable to work and collaborate during business hours on the East Coast (EST/EDT time zone)Minimum Experience:A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience with demonstrated Senior level accomplishments and expertise in a Software Engineer or equivalent roleAbility to work independently (self-organized) in a challenging and complex business and technical environmentExcellent knowledge of the agile mindset and ways of working, and practical use of the Scrum framework and Azure Cloud / DevOps environmentsProfessional proficiency with the English language, both spoken and writtenExcellent written (Business & Technical), verbal and listening communication skillsTechnical Competencies:Required:Demonstrated programming experience in project(s) of high complexity with the following technologies:REST APIs / RESTful Web ServicesAzure CloudAzure DevOpsAzure App ServiceAzure API ManagementAzure SQL DatabaseAzure FunctionsMicrosoft Entity FrameworkMicrosoft SQL ServerC#Legacy and new.Net systems (4.5+) and .NET CoreASP.NET MVC and Razor developmentMicroservices, Domain Driven Design and Clean ArchitecturePreferred:Azure Service BusAzure Event GridAzure Event HubsAzure Key VaultAzure Active DirectoryAzure Cache for RedisAzure Front DoorReact and related Frontend technologies
