Competitive Wages and Benefits As a certified wound care/treatment specialist, you will work with the center clinical team and, under physician orders, develop and implement a wound care/treatment plan that meets each resident’s specific needs and reflects best practices. You will: Perform accurate and comprehensive wound/skin care assessments of each assigned resident. Develop and implement an evidence-based care plan for each wound care patient. Communicate patient clinical status changes to the healthcare team and physician. Visit in-room with staff for collaboration, education/training, evaluating competency, and performing skills checks. Review charts of wound care patients as assigned. Deliver skilled nursing care. Manage nursing duties on a rotating basis. You currently: Possess a nursing license in the state of employment. Possess active wound care certification. Maintain current knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations and inform on appropriate issues. Maintain current wound care/treatment practices.
