Job Title Research Technician 2 Department Arts and Sciences | Molecular Genetics Administration Responsibilities The Research Technician will assist in experiments involving yeast genetics, molecular biology, biochemistry, microscopy, and image processing and analysis. The Research Technician will also conduct routine lab maintenance, such as ordering lab supplies, preparing culture media and plates, and keeping clean sterilized glassware. Qualifications Required: High School diploma or GED and one year of experience in Research Technician work (assisting experiments in molecular biology, biochemistry, or related area); or one year of full-time equivalent research experience in STEM areas during college education. Compensation Pay range: $15.86 to $20.74 per hour (within range based on internal equity, unit's budget, and qualifications).
