The Opportunity

We are looking for a dynamic, vision-driven Associate Director of Property Management to lead, scale, and elevate the operational and financial performance of our premier regional multifamily portfolio (1,000+ units).

In this key executive-track role, you won't just manage properties-you will shape community culture, mentor rising talent across leasing and maintenance teams, and set the standard for luxury living in Central New Jersey.

How You'll Make an Impact

• Lead & Empower Teams: Recruit, mentor, and inspire leasing consultants, and maintenance professionals. You'll build a cohesive, high-energy culture rooted in accountability, professional growth, and mutual support.
• Champion Five-Star Resident Experiences: Drive market-leading resident retention by fostering a culture of warm, responsive hospitality and swift, graceful conflict resolution.
• Drive Operational Excellence: Maintain pristine, luxury-grade property standards across all sites through proactive preventive maintenance strategies, frequent walk-throughs, and quality control.
• Optimize Portfolio Financials: Streamline the make-ready pipeline, manage vendor contracts and contract bidding to maximize ROI, and maintain clean, accurate accounts payable processes.
• Vendor & Contract Strategy: Build strong regional vendor relationships, negotiating top-tier service agreements that guarantee quality workmanship and exceptional value.
• Serve as a Portfolio Anchor: Maintain high-level operational oversight, including providing guidance and support during critical property emergencies when needed.

What You Bring to the Team

• Proven Leadership: 5+ years in residential property management, with at least 3 years successfully managing multiple teams and manager-level staff.
• Tech-Savvy Expertise: High proficiency in Microsoft Office and hands-on experience with property management platforms (Yardi Preferred )
• Communication Master: Outstanding interpersonal and written communication skills with a natural ability to connect with residents, staff, and executive leadership.
• Strategic Problem Solver: Proactive, organized, and execution-oriented with an eye for detail and follow-through.
• Industry Insight: A strong understanding of residential building systems, local fair housing regulations, and compliance standards (preferred).
